I’m starting my month of sewing kids’ clothes with the youngest- my two year old son! I will be making him one pair of pants, 3 shirts, and one cozy sweatshirt. I’m hoping to have these all finished and photographed by Friday, so stay tuned! In the mean time I’ve linked fabric and the patterns I’m thinking I will use below.
This Samson Sweater from Love Notions is adorable and will be the ‘topper’ of this module as he can wear it layered over other things for a good part of the fall. I’m hoping to make brother a matching one out of this Sweatshirting complete with faux leather patches.
This adorable Bicycle Sweatshirt Fleece is going to be made up as a sweatshirt and this soft French Terry will be a long sleeve shirt with white ribbing from my stash.
I have some really cute green plaid that I’m hoping to sew up into a Buttoned-up Button-down shirt from Oliver and S Patterns. I think it will be adorable paired with these pants from the Spring 2017 issue of Ottobre. I bought this twill to give it a classic khaki pants look.
Sam doesn’t need too much so I think these cozy pieces will be nice additions to his fall wardrobe!
