Sewing Plans

After processing Me Made May, I sat down and went through my fabrics and patterns and gave a lot of thought to what I would like to sew next. Here are some of my upcoming plans! You’ll notice a lot of separates and simple pieces and I’m looking forward to mixing them in with the clothes I already love.

P.S. I’m using a lot of fabrics from my stash so the links below are only to the patterns!

The Rudy hoodie by Seamwork I made the Mel sweatpants and ran out of fabric to make the matching hoodie. Luckily, Blackbird go more in stock and I can make my 00s sweat suit dreams come true!

The Harper shorts by Megan Nielsen I made a couple pairs of these years ago and still wear them. I have just enough leftover mustard denim to get another pair of these out of!

The Pomona shorts by Anna Allen Clothing  This is a new pattern and I wanted to try the shorts in some leftover black linen and see if I could make a little matching set to wear this summer. I love the Persephone Pants by this same designer and am excited to try another pants pattern of hers!

The Ginger Jeans by Closet Case Patterns I am so close to having these bad boys finished!! I ran out of topstitching thread, but it is in the mail to me so soon I will be able to say I sewed my first pair of jeans.

M7976 I have a chambray I bought last summer that I think will look so great as a tie button up shirt. Going to try this pattern that came out at the end of last summer and see how it works.

M6751 This is an older pattern and I’m not sure if it’s what I want, but I love the idea of an easy summer top and it takes about a yard of fabric so I am trying to use up a random piece of linen in my stash.
